Upcoming Worship Schedule:

July 6: Before the Law: Surviving America’s Kafkaesque Nightmare: Joey Mello is an NSUC member and is a professor of political science. He has written books on marriage equality (The Courts, The Ballot Box, And Gay Rights) and the politics of pot legalization (Pot for Profit). His sermon about our contemporary political situation is not to be missed!

July 13: What makes a good life? Viewpoints from a UU seminarian: NSUC member Kate Steinberg returns to the rock to reflect on lessons she’s learned in seminary and in the field as a community minister and chaplain in formation.

July 20: The Sounds of Silence: Summer is not usually a quiet time — festivals thumping, barbecues sizzling, leaf-blowers blaring, birds singing, and protests crying. This service asks when we might want to seek silence, and if silence is even possible. What is lost, or what is found, when we slip into silence? When might silence, as the famous song suggests, carry its own sound? Emily Mace, candidate for UU ministry, will preach.

July 27: Lunasa: A celebration of Lunasa, gratitude for the first harvest, please bring a grain based food donation for the pantry. Reflections on the year past and the remaining year to come. A body centered worship. Renee Weinberger leading.
